Trying to get home Christmas Night.

Trying to get home Christmas Night was no easy drive. The snow storm that came that day was beautiful to watch all day long. Until it was time to go out in it. Which we don't even live a mile from my parents but it still was no fun. The high way was plowed but no side roads were. You could feel the snow hitting under the van as we drove. Our drive way not only had several inches on it but the drifts made some places about 2 feet deep. I left the van in the middle of the road with hazards on while Marty snow blowed. Me and the kids made a run for it in the house. Then I went out to help shovel. We only did the one side of the driveway just to get in the garage that night because it was so cold, still snowing pretty hard, and the wind was still blowing pretty good to just make more drifts. But it was nice the have a peaceful white Christmas.
